Inspired by a love for indigenous wellness, we set out to reimagine our relationship with our skin. We wanted our formulas to highlight natural and effective botanicals that act as medicine for our skin.
Why? Because our skin lets in nearly seventy percent of everything applied to its surface. That’s seventy percent of all the bleaches, artificial fragrances, aluminum, sulfates, steroids, and petrochemicals found in mass-produced skincare.

The Story
In 2021, the owners of Inspire Academy of Barbering & Cosmetology set their sights on the world of skincare. Botanical skincare. And skincare for all ethnicities. Unimpressed with the offerings of mass-produced, chemical-laden products, they knew there had to be a better way to deliver natural, holistic, yet clinical skin formulations. Within six months they partnered with Cicely Everson, the formulator at Tao Holistics, and launched Skinspire with an intimate suite of effective botanical formulas.
